Charity Pet Sitters Goes Live

The idea came to me that as we traveled we could do work for the Pet Endowment Trust (PET) that would qualify as charity work and thus be able to calm the trip as a charity mission. I then expanded on that idea and wondered how we could let others do the same.

First we needed to come up with a simple travel log that would capture all the necessary things the IRS requires. This travel log would also hold others accountable for actually doing some work. I know it’s hard when you get to a location there’s just so much to see and do. Poor old charity work gets kind of lost or outright forgotten.

My next thought led me to ask myself, Kenne, what about instead of just making a web page, why not do a whole new website dedicated to just housesitters and petsitters. And after about ten minutes of kicking around a few ideas the name Charity Pet Sitters was chosen. After a quick check to see if I could acquire the domain .com I went to Wix and started this here website. I also decided to get the .org as well. Today is day two and things are progressing nice.
