The National Dog Park Association (NDPA) is excited to establish a permanent home right here in Fairhope, Alabama, and the greater Baldwin County community.

 

We’re looking for local partners, community members, and property owners who can help us find our future location! To make this possible, we are asking for your help.

🐾 Do You Know of a Property That Could Serve Our Mission?

We are currently searching for:

• Open land suitable for developing a safe, accessible, pet‑friendly dog park

• An abandoned building or unused commercial space

• An old home or structure that could be renovated into a local office and community outreach hub

 

🐶 Why We Need Your Help

Our goal is to bring a new resource to the community—a place where pets and their owners can enjoy safe recreation, education, and connection. In addition, we aim to create a local NDPA office that supports both local initiatives and national programs.

By helping us identify potential locations, you play a direct role in building a healthier, more connected, and more pet‑friendly community.

We are open to a variety of possibilities, including:

• Vacant lots

• Underused or abandoned buildings

• Donated land or structures

• Properties in need of renovation

• Community‑owned or privately‑owned spaces ready for new purpose
