National Dog Park Association

Whether you're a dog park owner or manage a dog park or a passionate supporter of dog friendly communities, enjoy the many great benefits from joining this amazing association. All group members can contribute and share exciting ideas and suggestions to make the NDPA organization better. Plus, Director at Large members take on a more active role in their community. They start the process of organizing local dog friendly projects.

Professional  Community

The NDPA is a professional association first. Becoming a Director at Large could provide anyone a platform to promote their own career or other interest. It also provides opportunities for personal advancement, networking with other professionals and community leadership.

National Dog Park Standards

Adopted by this association's members; the NDPA promotes standards for the dog park industry. These best operating practices allow dog parks to ensure guests they can trust a dog park is maintained to a nationally recognized standard.

Non-Profit Status

Partnership Benefits

The PET / National Dog Park Association allows community groups and dog park operators a non-profit umbrella partnership to raise funds for their city projects and dog park operation expenses.

It gives both private and public dog parks a non-profit platform to allow them to develop to sponsorships and /or private funding for their park.

​

For private dog park directors; 
â—¼ - It allows park directors to offer a business customer appreciation pass.
â—¼ - It allows park directors a path to seek private annual park supporters.
â—¼ - It allows park directors non-profit status for community event booths / fairs ect.
â—¼ - It allows dog parks to be valued as a part of the local animal welfare network.

Community Outreach

Park directors can maximize public awareness about their dog park by teaming up with local animal welfare projects. The National Dog Park Association partnership gives park directors opportunities to create a larger presence within their community.
