We are thrilled to have you consider joining the National Dog Park Association. No matter your job, company, or profession, being recognized as a community leader can only enhance your success.

Thank you for joining us! If things seem a bit amateurish, it's because we're just getting started. We're operating on a shoestring budget until we can figure out how to structure things to pay some support staff.

​

We have Director at Large LEVELS that distinguish go-getters from the rest. The higher you achieve, the more opportunities and recognition we can offer. This creates an equal recognition platform.

Our Director at Large associates range from dog walkers to directors of other organizations. It's an even playing field to move up, but it's up to you!

So far, every dog park industry company we've reached out to has supported our formation. We're linking to them, and we hope they become huge donors of the NDPA. We're all very excited about what's happening.

On the Director at Large page of the NationalDogPark.com website, we've outlined some getting started items. Using LinkedIn, we want to celebrate your participation. Feel free to use our logo and the Director at Large title on your account. The more directors join, the stronger our appeal to industry news promoters and potential sponsors.

Send us an email and let us know what's working so we can post your success. We're working on a park assessment form but can send you a copy of one developed by Mars, Cities for Pets Project. We also have an easy first project idea when you get to that point.

Above all, take it easy and have fun. Enjoy getting to know your community. You're going to meet some great people who love what you're doing. You might even get some job offers, so be ready for it.
