Right now, we’re seeking people with the passion and perseverance to support fishermen and help shape something meaningful from the ground up.
Becoming a member of the National Flounder Association doesn’t come with big perks, privileges, or promises. No VIP access. No guarantees. Maybe a random prize now and then—but that’s not the point. This is for those willing to contribute, not consume. As we build, we’re looking for individuals who bring effort, integrity, and a genuine drive to support fellow fishermen and strengthen the community as a whole.

The National Flounder Association leads the industry through premier events like the Flounder Fishing Expo and specialized educational programs for anglers of all skill levels. We provide exclusive resources and collaborative tools developed in partnership with marine experts and industry leaders. By working together, we drive innovation in fishing techniques while upholding our commitment to environmental stewardship and professional collaboration.
For Fishing Guides
Fishing guides are more than captains—they’re leaders, teachers, hosts, and stewards of the resource. It’s a demanding profession with long days, real risk, and no guaranteed income. The National Flounder Association hopes to stand beside flounder fishing guides and strengthen the brotherhood that holds this fishery together.
As Director of the NFA and a financial coach, my goals are to share my experience in income planning, finance, and business strategy to help guides add an extra 15k to 20k a year to their gross income. Build a more stable career and rewarding livelihood. When fishing guides succeed, families are stronger, fisheries are respected, and the future of flounder fishing is protected.
