Promoting Flounder Passion
Flounder Guides
They often work unseen to make outings run smooth. They are the public representative to the fishing population. They wear many hats trying to make a living.
This is the space to introduce visitors to the business or brand. Briefly explain who's behind it, what it does and what makes it unique. Share its core values and what this site has to offer.
Their Story
Fishing guides are more than captains—they’re leaders, teachers, hosts, and stewards of the resource. Their also have a family that has the same household wants and needs like the rest of us. It’s a demanding profession with long days, real risk, and no guaranteed income.
The National Flounder Association hopes to stand beside flounder fishing guides and strengthen the brotherhood that holds this fishery together.
As Director of the NFA, my goals are to share my experience in income planning, financial coaching, and business strategy to help guides discover an additional 15 to 20k a year to their gross income. To build more stable, rewarding livelihoods. When fishing guides succeed, families are stronger, fisheries are respected, and the future of flounder fishing is protected.

Together, I hope let the NFA work to:
-
Elevate and give recognition to flounder fishing guides for the value they bring to the industry
-
Help guides attract and secure business sponsors and partnerships
-
Support guides with taxes, financial planning, and long-term business strategies
This is about building a better life—side by side—while promoting flounder fishing, conservation, and the solidarity of those who make their living on the water.
